Another class that is available now at Hope is the Leading in Hope class. The primary purpose of the class is to prepare men for the offices of elder and deacon by acquainting them with the doctrinal standards of Hope Church. However, Leading in Hope is also open to men and women who would like to gain a deeper understanding of reformed theology. In addition to studying key Scripture texts, members of the class will read and discuss the Westminster Confession of Faith as well as other works on special subjects such as the five points of Calvinism, the sacraments and the Bible’s teaching on the offices of elder and deacon. This class will be held on Sundays at 6:00 PM starting on February 26th. If you think you may want to join us for Leading in Hope, please contact David Fidati on or before Tuesday, February 21. |
